Advertising and Privacy Choices

2026-09-15 · General information

Information processed for advertising and how to manage privacy choices.

Scope

This notice explains the information that may be processed through advertising in HTML Web Preview and how users can manage their choices. General information about personal information processing is available in the privacy documents.

1. Advertising in the App

HTML Web Preview includes functionality to display a Google AdMob banner on the home screen. The advertising area is separate from the web view used to run projects. Project folders can still be opened if an advertisement cannot be loaded.

2. Information That May Be Processed

Google's official data disclosure states that advertising functionality may process the following information:

  • Network addresses and approximate location
  • Device and app identifiers
  • Advertisement impressions, responses and app interactions
  • Error, crash and performance information

Actual processing depends on the user's choices, device permissions, advertising mode and participating providers.

The app requests non-personalized advertisements, which are not tailored to the user's interests, and is configured to disable Google's publisher first-party identifier. These settings do not stop all information processing or network communication. The app's advertising-request code does not expressly attach project file contents or file paths.

3. Managing Advertising Privacy Choices

When an advertising privacy message is displayed, users can review the purposes and provider information and make choices through the message supplied by Google. The app is configured to display Ad Privacy Settings on the home screen or in the app's settings when Google determines that a privacy-options entry point is required.

This menu is conditional and may not always be visible. If a required choice is unavailable or an error prevents a choice from being changed, contact avrelo.mail@gmail.com.

Ad Privacy Settings is intended to manage choices for subsequent advertising processing. It is separate from a request to delete information already transmitted. Changing a setting does not itself delete previously transmitted information. Declining advertising choices does not necessarily stop communications used for choice management or security.

4. Separate Settings and Retention Rules

Advertising privacy choices are separate from choices concerning the collection and use of information submitted as feedback. The app setting that permits a project to load external resources does not control communications for advertising, forms or email.

The maximum 12-month retention rule for inquiry and feedback originals does not also apply to Google's advertising records. Google's policy applies to information it processes independently. Avrelo remains subject to its own applicable legal duties for advertising functionality integrated into the app.
